Our mission is to empower those impacted by violence and foster healthy relationships

DSVS provides a range of support services for individuals and families affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Our services include shelter, meals, financial assistance, and help navigating the legal system. Through Power Up, Speak Out!, a violence prevention program for youth, DSVS teaches middle school students the basics of healthy relationships, boundaries and consent. DSVS serves both Carbon and Stillwater counties with offices in Red Lodge and Columbus.Funds raised will be used to support the DSVS Stillwater County office direct services.

DSVS serves between 175-200 survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault every year from Carbon and Stillwater counties, and Power Up, Speak Out! is taught in nearly 400 schools nationwide. DSVS operates a 24-7 helpline that’s staffed entirely by volunteers. Here’s what one domestic violence survivor recently said, “People do not seem to understand that the initial events that lead you to the DSVS front door continue to ripple through your life for years to come. I don’t think I would function as well as I do without your support.”
